Requirements for studying medicine in Philippines

After graduating from high school, you need a bachelor’s degree in a field related to medicine and science, for four or five years, followed by medical studies. The Bachelor of Medicine (MD) degree program takes five years to complete. The first three years will be spent studying basic medical sciences, then the fourth year in clinical study in laboratories and hospitals, and the fifth year in actual training with patients in the hospital.

How to register in medical universities in Philippines

The applicant must have a degree or bachelor’s degree in a related specialty, and if they have a specialty not related to medicine (i.e., a non-medical curriculum), they must pass a course called a preliminary medical curriculum, after which a certificate is given to be able to apply for medical studies.
