Private Medical Universities in Germany

There are four private German universities offering medical studies. Unlike public universities, they are not subject to a nationwide numerus clausus (NC) restriction, and thus the application process differs and is not solely based on the cumulative grades of applicants.

However, you can still expect to undergo a rigorous testing system for acceptance into these universities. On the downside, students are required to pay tuition fees to private universities, which currently range from 5,700 euros to 15,000 euros per semester, depending on the university you choose.
